Accelerators—Accelerator Solutions

Accelerator Solutions

iWave Accelerators are pre-built process workflows (or run books) that provide intelligent, automated orchestration of critical data center tasks and activities. Delivered out-of-the-box with iWave Orchestrator and supported by our 50+ iWave Adapters, monitoring console and customizable self-service portal, Accelerators leverage our 17 years of data center automation expertise, conform to ITIL and industry best practices and incorporate unmatched subject matter knowledge from our worldwide network of partners that provide data outsourcing services for global 500 organizations.

iWave Accelerators drive the data center adoption of best practices, automate error-prone, manual processes and accelerate the pace in which tribal knowledge and custom scripts are transformed into sustainable, repeatable processes. Each Accelerator includes critical IT task functions, error handling logic, data center application integration and can be compiled to limit end user changes. The iWave Process Design Studio provides a drag-and-drop environment to create or tailor Accelerators to meet unique organizational requirements. Role-based access and advanced collaboration features facilitate a team-based IT approach to process design, approval and execution.

The following Accelerators are available for iWave Orchestrator:

  • Dynamic Server Provisioning
  • Intelligent Fault Remediation
  • Service Desk Integration
  • Closed-Loop Change Management
  • Cloud Service Management
  • Automated Disaster Recovery
  • Automated Workload Management

iWave Accelerators benefit IT organizations by lowering the time, cost and resources involved in both the initial process definition and ongoing automation of IT operations. Accelerators help IT managers embed industry best practices and minimize the ongoing risks of making changes in the data center.

Organizations deploying iWave Accelerators will:

  • Lower data center management costs and free up IT staff through the automation of complex and recurring IT activities and tasks
  • Improve IT standards and regulatory compliance by embedding ITIL and industry best practices into operational support processes
  • Increase data center availability by closing the loop on the change request lifecycle and mitigating the introduction of unplanned and undesirable change
