FRISCO, Texas - August 24, 2005 - The Metroplex Technology Business Council (“MTBC”) awarded Skywire Software the Tech Titan Leadership award at its annual Gala event on August 19. This is the company’s second Tech Titan award. Founder and CEO, Patrick Brandt, was awarded the Emerging Company CEO award in 2004. In Tech Titan’s fifth year, more than 800 attended the awards dinner and gala at the Charles W. Eisemann Center for the Performing Arts in Richardson, Texas.
Under Brandt’s leadership, Skywire Software is focused not only on providing a better career for each employee, but an overall better life fostered through professional development and the ability to assist others in the community. “We built Skywire Software with three core constituencies to serve: Customers, Culture (employees), and Community,” says Mr. Brandt. “Everyone in the company is dedicated to giving back to the community, and, in turn, enriching their own lives.”
The Tech Titan Leadership award recognizes a company within the technology and communications industry for outstanding community leadership and support to business, civic, community, and/or educational programs. In 2004-2005, Skywire Software employees generously donated more than 1,300 hours of community service to the Dallas-Fort Worth community.
